Hot Sale Honeywell DWR6 pressure switch (0.5-6BAR)

Description

Honeywell DWR6 pressure switch (0.5-6BAR)

The Honeywell DWR6 is a mechanical pressure switch designed for a wide range of industrial applications. It operates within a pressure setting range of 0.5 to 6 BAR, making it suitable for systems that require monitoring and control within this pressure span.

The switch features a rugged housing made of seawater-resistant die-cast aluminum, which provides excellent durability and protection, especially in harsh environments. It can withstand a maximum working pressure of 16 BAR.

The pressure connection has an external thread G1/2 (for pressure gauge connection following DIN 16288) and an internal thread G1/4 (for gas applications, with the internal thread permissible only up to 4 BAR according to ISO 228 part 1).

Functionally, when the system pressure reaches the pre-set value within its 0.5 – 6 BAR range, it triggers a response.

The switching differential, which is the difference between the pressure at which the switch actuates and the pressure at which it resets, ranges from 0.08 to 0.3 BAR. This ensures accurate and reliable operation.

The DWR6 is highly versatile. It can be used to monitor both maximum and minimum pressures in systems such as fuel gases (complying with DVGW worksheet G260), liquid fuels, steam systems (in line with TRD 604), and hot water systems (meeting DIN EN 12828, DIN EN 12952 – 11, and DIN EN 12953 – 9 standards).

The ambient temperature at the switching device and the medium temperature it can handle both range from – 25 °C to + 70 °C, with short – term spikes up to 85 °C possible. If the medium temperature is higher, appropriate measures like using a siphon can be taken to ensure the switch’s proper functioning.
